The back, and the front. I find it not so bad. I do not love it, and get lost in doing it as I do with machine quilting, but I do like the look of fans.

It's a masterpiece, I love it.
Wow. I quite like it. I gave up holding fine needles when my lupus took off, which is when I rediscovered knitting, so, handstitching like that is something to dream about while I go do other things.
