Now I just teach folks how to care for their newly installed medical hardware.And, I knit like a fiend, spin some, make stuff,quilt in a supremely non linear way, let the kids make giant art related messes, have only two half trained dogs, a tolerant husband, and generally make anyone who has ever seen my house feel better about their house keeping. Run on sentences and misuse of the semi colon; also favorite activities.

Hi woolywoman, I just had to pop over and put an end to your misery...LOL The MAM I speak of is shorthand for "mile a minute". I've been making them for many, many years, way before blogland. It's basically the same approach to making a block that Bonnie at Quiltville calls "crumbs". Meaning the small pieces.
Being a scrap-aholic, the bits and pieces are my favorite part. And it's a good way to get almost everything used from the fabric we buy. I don't find it any stranger than people making quilts, etc, from the selvedges of fabric. Hugs, Finn
